What makes the City of Vaughan a great place to buy a pre-construction condo? Vaughan is located north of Toronto and ranks as one of the best places to live in 2018 by MoneySense magazine. It has one of the lowest property tax rates in the Greater Toronto Area. Vaughan now has a TTC subway station and also a new downtown, known as Vaughan Metropolitan centre.
 

a Rapidly Growing City

After Toronto and Mississauga, Vaughan is the third largest employment centre. Manufacturing and service industries are dominating sectors. Because of the rapid growth, Vaughan real estate sector is experiencing a boom. A number of new condo developments have sprung up in the last few years and doesn’t look like stopping any time soon. And not to mention, the two major attractions of Vaughan – Vaughan Mills Shopping Mall with over 200 fashion outlets along with dining and entertainment and Canada’s Wonderland theme park.

According to Statistics Canada, the 2015 median total income for households was $91,000 which was 23% higher than the Ontario numbers.

One of the neighbourhoods in Vaughan is Thornhill. Thornhill is divided between Vaughan and Markham. Close proximity to Toronto has contributed to Thornhill’s growth in the last few decades. Developments have flourished since the 1970s.
