Mississauga’s pre-construction market had a slow start this year after a silent spring season. This is in keeping with other areas in the Greater Toronto area which also have seen a delayed start due to pandemic situation.
But this belated start to the pre-construction season in Mississauga will see many of the builder’s launches this summer.
Here are a few of them.
Canopy Towers
Releasing on August 11, Canopy Towers will be 33 storeys tall. The developers of Canopy Towers are Liberty Development who have some of the prestigious developments under their belt such as World on Yonge, Galleria Townhomes and Centre Park Townes.
Canopy Towers will be located in downtown Mississauga just north of Eglinton Ave & Hurontario St. Many of the are amenities are within walking distance. Square One Shopping Centre, Heartland Town Centre are close by. Shopping, dining, entertainment and schools are all within a short walk or drive.

Artform Condos
Artform Condos is expected to be released in August.
One of the oldest parts of Mississauga, Cooksville is planned to undergo redevelopment and Artform Condos to be developed by Emblem Developments will be part of it. Artform will feature 17,500 square feet of amenity space including fitness center, gallery, outdoor courtyard, bar and commercial spaces.
Artform will be located at 86 Dundas St E at the current site of car dealership.
Its proximity to all of the area amenities, GO Station, future LRT stop and MiWay service subway station makes it a sought-after place.

Square One District
The bold Square One District project will transform downtown Mississauga with the development of 18 million-square-foot land around Square One shopping mall. This master planned development will make the already vibrant Square One area into a top urban living destination.
The first residential tower (Phase 1) is expected to go on sale this September and will be located at Rathburn Road and Confederation Parkway. It will be developed by Daniels Corporation and Oxford Properties and will be 48-storeys tall consisting of about 600 condo suites.

Brightwater Condos & Towns
A major transformation of Port Credit is underway and Brightwater will be part of that make-over. It will transform the existing brownfield at 70 Mississauga Road South into a vibrant community. This massive development will have 8 residential towers with almost 3000 units and 400 townhouses.
With its 72-acre land, this community will be surrounded by countless amenities and public parks. You will also have an exceptional view of beautiful gardens and the Lake Ontario. Apart from this, many private and public schools are just nearby making it an ideal location for families.
First building will be 27 storeys tall and is expected to go on sale in early September.
