Who cares if the groundhog has got it right...
Spring is Springing! Yay! I realize that when you get this and read it, you are likely at home practicing social distancing and hoping for brighter days ahead. My family and I are in the same boat. Please stay healthy and safe in these unprecedented times.
Regardless of what’s going on, I am still so grateful. As I look outside, the sun shines bright and I look forward to the summer ahead. Just like the weather seasons come and go, so do the seasons of life. Do you agree with me that the seasons seem to come and go faster and faster and time just seems to fly by?
Some of life’s seasons will be HOT and others will be COLD, some high and some low. The lows we want to move by quickly, the highs we want to stay in forever. But it’s the low points, those tough times, that I have learned the most from. All of the experiences through these seasons make me who I am.
Unfortunately, there are some that will have a Spring Time they would much rather forget. Not far from where I’m typing this, the Canadian Mental Health Association is having to turn people away. For them and their families, the current situation weighs even more heavily on their minds. They want to be able to practice social distancing and keep their families safe but for now they are praying for help.
